Several years ago I started playing around on a piece of software called HYPERCARD which we had got in a bundle with our old Mac plus, I had never done any computer programming before and I really enjoyed using it. I at first only copied the ready-made stacks and edited them. I made hundreds of small dumb cartoons.
My programming progressed slowly, as I had little time to practice. I wrote my first 'computer game' two years ago. It was on the MacPlus. It involved going round and round a track on a cave cart (I admit it - I copied Donkey Kong!!!). All you had to do was jump a stone on each lap. If you completed 10 rounds successfully you won the championships - in which you were the only competer! Unfortunately it does not work at all properly on the later Macs.
Then I realised there was a shortage (in other words I had never seen one) of platform games for the Mac, so I decided to attempt to write one, the result of which you can judge. The object is to complete all the levels, without being killed by nasty beasties. Although it may, though I expect not as I have rigorously tested it, be totally bug covered. If there are any problems E-mail me at my below address or send post. If the problem is something such as crashing it maybe something I can do absolutely nothing about, and it may not.
